JOSHUA IDEHEN

SUPPORT FROM LOUISE GOLBEY

30/05 | CORSICA STUDIOS

Spoken word artist and musician Joshua Idehen returns to London for another life-affirming headline show, this time at Corsica Studios

A well-known contributor within the UK Jazz scene, Idehen has worked with the likes of Mercury-nominated The Comet is Coming, MOBO-winning Sons of Kemet, and highly acclaimed fellow poet and musician Alabaster DePlume

In recent years, Idehen has stepped into the spotlight of his own accord, releasing celebrated spoken word and dance album ‘Learn to Swim: A Mixtape’. This body of work has allowed Idehen, alongside his producer Ludvig Parment, to develop a live performance that is equal parts rave and (secular) sermon. Their performance is danceable, powerful, and deeply moving.

At Corsica Studios, Idehen and Parment will bring to the stage old favourites as well as all new unreleased songs. Support for the evening comes from powerhouse Louise Golbey. Come through and be healed.

Earth Cruises donates 10% of profit from all shows to carefully selected causes. This year, Earth Cruises’ charity of choice is Hackney Migrant Centre who provide support for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants in need through the provision of free advice on immigration, welfare and health.
